Beef Ribs – Short Ribs
Our beef comes from Red Ruby Devon cattle which are 100% grass fed. The beef is 28 day matured to ensure an exceptional depth of flavour.
Short ribs, sometimes referred to as a Jacob’s Ladder are cut from the forequarter of our Devon cattle. They should be slow roasted until the meat is literally falling off the bone to bring out their full flavour and succulence. In summer you can finish them over hot coals on a barbecue. All the year round they are delicious, straight from baking in the oven, served with a barbecue or chilli sauce, baked potato and coleslaw or salad.
