Braising Steak Whole
Our beef comes from Red Ruby Devon cattle which are 100% grass fed. The beef is 28 day matured to ensure an exceptional depth of flavour.
Our braising steak is cut from both the fore and hindquarters of our Red Ruby Devon cattle. Braising steak makes a delicious hearty meal, full of flavour. As braising steak comes from the tougher cuts of the animal, it should always be seared and then slow-cooked, generally in stock so that the meat is tasty, succulent and tender and its juices can add to the flavour of the gravy. Adding onions and Mediterranean vegetables or root vegetables give a further twist to a delicious dish. Serve with boiled, mashed, baked or sautéed potatoes or rice.
