Our gammon steaks are cut from the hind legs of specially selected, locally farmed pigs, which have been cured in a special brine mix to bring out the full, traditional flavour of this classic cut of pork. A versatile ingredient, gammon steaks can be cooked in a number of ways. From the ‘retro’ fried gammon, egg and chips or gammon with pineapple slices, to fried gammon with a mustard sauce or baked gammon with a mango or pineapple salsa, it is an ingredient that can be used in so many different ways.
