Mutton Mince


Our mutton is produced from our own organically farmed, 100% grass-fed Lleyn sheep who originated in the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales.  They are a hardy breed with sweet, flavoursome meat and carry less fat than many other sheep.

Our mutton mince, is a favourite both for special dishes, including Mediterranean food, and for batch cooking. The mutton mince is made from mutton breast and similar cuts, and can be used in many dishes as a tasty alternative to minced beef.  Favourite dishes using mutton mince include authentic Greek Moussaka with aubergines or courgettes.  If you are even more adventurous, try it in Moroccan dishes or make your own spicy koftas.  You can, of course, also use it for that ever-popular Shepherds Pie which so many of our customers’ families enjoy.  Our mutton mince is extra rich in flavour and makes tasty, filling food.
